As 2019 comes to an end and the New Year is sneaking upon us, The O’Neill center would like to talk about the importance of volunteerism. Here at the O’Neill Center we have a wonderful volunteers base, however we are in need of more help. The O’Neill Center would not be able to run as smoothly without the help of our volunteers. Do you have a knack for teaching? Want to give back to the community? Or are you retired and wanting something to do? We are looking for volunteers from students to retired seniors. If you feel you are interested don’t hesitate to come into the center or give us a call at 740-373-3914.
Volunteer areas of opportunity include:
- Computer lab assistance
- Helping with parties, or other events
- Instructors for evidence based programming
- 50/50 raffle for bingo
- Program Presenters
- Companions in the adult day center
- General Assistance
