Two new meal projects to immediately assist area seniors.

Adopt a Senior fundraising

According to the Centers for Disease Control, older adults seem to be at higher risk for developing more serious complications from COVID-19 illness. While we’re thrilled to see local businesses begin to open, seniors are still advised to stay home as much as possible.

Activities, events and trips at the O’Neill Center have been suspended, but our mission remains the same. Helping Area Seniors Live HIP: Healthy, Independent and Productive. Based on feedback from our clients, we’ve implemented two projects to immediately assist area seniors.

Meal Project

Thanks in part to the Marietta Community Foundation and an anonymous private donor and in collaboration with Joe Momma’s Kitchen and Jeremiah’s Coffee House, the O’Neill Center is delivering a hot meal or salad to 200 area seniors 5 days each week.

Grocery Project

Thanks in part to the United Way and Settlers Bank, the O’Neill Center is delivering a box of groceries to 130 area seniors every other week. This includes milk, bread, eggs, cereal, pudding, pasta sauce, fresh fruits and more.

The need is currently much greater and your help is needed to feed more seniors!

$25 provides hot meal delivery to one senior for one week!

$50 provides groceries for one senior for one month!

Please donate to help seniors stay home & stay safe!
